In the April 2, 2019 episode of CPAC’s Primetime Politics, host Peter van Dusen discusses the Wilson-Raybould and Philpott expulsions with members of each of the three principal federal political parties: (pictured from left to right) Muppet Beaker (Liberal); Richie Rich (Conservative); Leon Trotsky (NDP).
Their sartorial sense reflects the values of their respective parties. The spread collar of Marc “Beaker” Miller’s dress shirt is constrictive, way too tight, almost as though it is remote-controlled by Justin Trudeau who lurks nearby, ready to choke off Miller's oxygen supply should he wander off point. Michael “Richie Rich” Cooper wants to looks like a baller from Wall Street, or Bay Street or wherever dudes who worship the almighty dollar hang out. The stripe on that shirt is BOLD. Unfortunately, he has accidentally gotten into his dad's closet and his discomfort in big people's clothes shows. Daniel Blakey is Leon Trotsky. I don’t understand it either. I guess socialism just requires a vest.
